  1. Kava has been banned in the UK by the Medicines Control Agency (MCA) following concerns that it can lead to liver poisoning.

  2. My go to is holy basil. It helps with focus and increases feelings of well-being. Definitely do research if you are on prescription meds. I know kava interferes with some so know before you take.

  3. If you can allow yourself to have or embrace sensations of anxiety, it might help to relieve it. It can be a useful mind hack for a stress-filled species

  4. Make sure you are checking your specific medications for interactions with kava and other herbs ect.

  5. I was really anxious as a child and as I grew older I just got worse. For the past 14yrs I lived like a hermit. When I talk to people I feel like my heart is going to explode. I don’t know what to do? I enrolled on a course to get out of this, but I feel terrible about meeting people.

  6. Because I like Dr Daniel Amen, I took his suggestion and I use ( saffron ) to help with my anxiety. It definitely works.

  7. Kava, Passion Flower, GABA, 5htp, L-theanine, magnesium, slippery elm, etc. doesn’t do anything for people who have true anxiety. I tried it all.

  11. Ive been drinking chamomile tea and that’s been helping me quite a bit! As well as I had a chamomile & lavender combo wax melt. I burn it, and then i keep a few of the unburned wax in mesh & sniff it at night or keep the smell on my bed. It helped me calm down a lot!

  12. The way I’ve found to make panic attacks much less frequent and severe is to just lean into them. There’s a great audiobook I listened to called “Anxiety and Panic” by Dr. Harry Barry that talks about this and helped me tremendously. People who have never had anxiety or panic attacks don’t understand how scary it is, but just remember, you’re not alone in this.

  13. I asked my Chemist about taking Kava. He said it’s hard on the Liver, so I don’t use it. Only use sparingly if you must. Don’t know about Passionflower, never tried it.

Not if no-one understands my anxiety I am just too tired of all these what if questions every moment of my life I think what if someone I love dies If someone wouldbot pick up their phone I use to get negative vibes and I still do I just cannot get over it and my parents say its fine you don’t need therapy I just want someone to understand me and help me and I just feel like I don’t have any talents or I feel like I am super rude and no one likes me.
