Resistance Band Chair Exercises for Seniors & Beginners || Full Body 30 minute Workout

Join me for an all seated resistance band workout that is joint friendly! In 30 minutes we will strengthen and tone all areas of the body using a stretchy band. I’m using a theraband, but a resistance band with handles would also work for this workout as well.
Make this workout your own! Don’t be fooled thinking this is easy because it’s a chair workout. You can easily make these exercises more challenging by shortening your band therefore creating more resistance.
You will build strength and feel the heat in your biceps, triceps, shoulders, upper back, core, glutes and thighs! Let’s get started!

  3. The excersizes both explained how to go about the same are too good. You are simply superb. Will add this in routine. In my case my left hand and leg is very weak. Any suggestions exercise to strengthen the same. Awaiting reply thank you so much. You are an angel in disguise ❤

  5. Great work out presented really well at a pace I could follow. Couldn’t manage the hip flexor move at 23 minutes as I have a dropped foot but managed everything else and could feel the effect.

  6. You actually accomplished the impossible – you developed a workout I actually ENJOY and look forward to doing. DIdn’t think that would ever happen. This is such a great workout to do while traveling. So long as you have your computer or tablet you can access the channel and stretchy bands weigh nothing so packing them and carrying them in baggage is a snap. Thank you!

  9. Hi Lauren, You really do have a wonderful program, selection, manner and way of caring. I am 82 and have recently had major foot surgery but with your sessions my fitness is returning and your sessions every morning for the past month have given me a whole new sense of purpose and achievement.   11. I normally do yoga and stretches, but I pulled something in my ankle and was glad to find resistance exercises that I don’t have to put weight on my foot for. Thanks. I’ll do this again tomorrow.

  16. Please make sure you check your bands before you start this workout! Look for small holes or rips. It’s the worst when a worn or damaged band snaps on you!   19. Hmmm, although I did this workout 4 months ago it seemed a lttle harder for me this time. Maybe because I did yard work for 2 hrs. yesterday !! Thank you Lauren for all you do for us.

  20. I always overlooked workouts on a chair. I hate chairs which are the cause for many health issues, don’t need them with my workouts. But today is sooo hot in Athens and we are having a long lasting heatwave… So I decided as I wear in my shorts and barefoot to sit on my chair and grab my band and do a light workouts (this is what I was thinking..). Little I’ve known! Wow! Very challenging even for a non senior or non injured! Thank you Lauren! ❤❤❤❤
